I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to set up my new home office and finally decided to go with a TP-Link 8-Port TL-SG1008P 1/2 PoE Gigabit Switch. This is a nice little piece of equipment that I’ve been wanting to add to my home network, and I finally did so after a few months of research and testing.
There are a lot of different options when it comes to home networking equipment, and I think that with all of the options out there, TP-Link has a solid offering that you can�t go wrong with.
TP-Link has a lot of different products, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and even a few wireless power stations. I’ve been using the TP-Link Archer A9 AC750 WiFi Router for a while now, and I really like it.
However, I wanted to see what else TP-Link had to offer, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have a lot of different switches as well.
One of my favorite features of this TP-Link switch is that it has 8 ports, and I’ve been wanting to add a couple of new devices to my home network that requires more than 4 ports.
