i5 Wired Safety Beam
The i5 Wired Safety Beam is a photoelectric infrared sensor designed to enhance the safety of automated gates, garage doors, and traffic barriers. It consists of a transmitter and receiver pair, which communicate via a focused infrared beam. If an object, vehicle, or person breaks the beam, the system detects the interruption and can trigger an action—typically stopping or reversing the gate or barrier.
