The APC Smart-UPS 3000VA Rack/Tower LCD 230V is a single-phase rack/tower model with a maximum output of 3000VA/2400W. The Smart-UPS 3000VA is designed to provide protection for electronic equipment during brief power outages, power surges, and brownouts. In addition to protection from power problems, the UPS provides battery backup during longer power outages. The UPS also provides battery charging capability to keep the batteries in top condition.
The Smart-UPS 3000VA features a user-friendly LCD display and push-button controls. The Smart-UPS 3000VA also features an audible alarm and an optional flashing light that alerts users of power problems. A built-in communication port allows the UPS to connect to a network to allow for remote monitoring and management of the UPS.
The Smart-UPS 3000VA includes a USB port that allows users to connect the UPS to a computer. The UPS can be managed by a user-friendly Windows®-based software application called PowerChute. This software is included with the UPS and can be installed on a Windows®-based computer. Advanced features of PowerChute include scheduled shutdown and wake-up, remote monitoring, and management of the UPS via a network.
The Smart-UPS 3000VA includes a three-year manufacturer’s warranty on the UPS system and a five-year manufacturer’s warranty on the internal batteries.
