I recently bought the Hikvision DS-7104NI-Q1/4P/M 4 channel NVR. This is a network video recorder that has 4 independent video inputs. The 4 input port can be used for surveillance, or for each input port you can have 4 different cameras. I decided to use it for surveillance.

The 4 channels are connected to 4 different input ports. There is a HDMI port for each input, so you can use a TV or a monitor to view the video. Every channel has a dedicated power supply.

I thought it might be nice to have a way to view the video from each channel. So, I bought a few HDMI splitter cables and connected each channel to a separate monitor.

After setting up the NVR and the cameras, I started testing it out. I was able to view the video from each camera on a separate monitor. The video quality was excellent. I was very happy with the NVR.

I have used Hikvision products in the past and have been very happy with them. I am always looking for ways to improve my security. So, I decided to buy the Hikvision 4 Channel Q Series NVR.

This is the best surveillance NVR I’ve used so far. It has 4 independent channels and each channel has an HDMI output port. The HDMI can be connected to a monitor or TV. If you have 4 different cameras, you can connect each camera to a separate HDMI port.

I have been using it for a few weeks now and have been very satisfied. The NVR is easy to install. I had no problems setting it up. The 4 channel NVR is easy to use. I was able to view the video from each channel on a separate monitor. I was also able to monitor the video from each channel on a TV.

I will be using this NVR for home surveillance. I will be using it for recording my kids’ after-school activities and I will be using it for home security.
