I’ve been using TP-Link switches for years now. For my home, I’ve been using a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND for my wireless network and a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND for my wired network.
But when I got this switch, I was so excited to be able to use one of their newer models, a TL-SF1016D.
This switch is pretty light, weighing in at only 27.5 grams, and it’s a 16-port switch. Meaning that you can plug in up to 16 network devices into this switch.
The good thing about this switch is that it has an RJ45 port for wired connections, as well as two USB ports. Meaning that you can use this switch for wired and wireless connections.
The bad thing about this switch is that it only has a 100Mbps Ethernet connection. Meaning that you’re not going to be able to use this switch to connect to a gaming network or anything that needs to support higher speeds.
However, if you’re looking for something that’s going to be easy to set up and use, this is a good switch that will help you get the job done.
