Lenovo L27i-4A 27″ FHD IPS Monitor with Built-In Speakers — Model 67BEKAC1AE
The Lenovo L27i-4A is a 27-inch Full HD IPS monitor built for everyday home and office computing. In particular, it combines a wide-angle 1920×1080 panel with integrated stereo speakers, so you avoid the cost and clutter of a separate audio setup. As a result, this monitor suits students, remote workers, and general-purpose users who want a clean, reliable display without unnecessary complexity.
Key Features & Benefits
- 99% sRGB Colour Accuracy: The panel covers 99% of the sRGB colour space. Consequently, colours in documents, images, and web content appear true and consistent throughout the working day.
- TÜV-Certified Eye Care with Natural Low Blue Light: Hardware-level blue light reduction — rather than a software filter — means less eye strain during long sessions. Furthermore, the Eyesafe® Display 2.0 and TÜV Rheinland® Eye Comfort certifications back up that claim with independent verification.
- 100Hz Refresh Rate with 1ms MPRT Response: At 100Hz, motion in video calls, streaming, and light gaming appears noticeably smoother than on standard 60Hz panels. In addition, the 1ms MPRT response time at 100Hz keeps fast-moving content sharp and clear.
- Integrated 3W×2 Stereo Speakers: Built-in speakers eliminate desk clutter and reduce cable management effort. However, users who need higher audio output for music or media production should consider external speakers instead.
- VESA 100mm Mount Compatibility: The monitor supports standard VESA 100mm wall or arm mounting. Therefore, users gain the flexibility to reclaim desk space or position the screen more ergonomically.

Use Cases
Working from Home
The L27i-4A works well as a primary home-office monitor. Specifically, the 27-inch IPS panel gives enough screen real estate to run two document windows side by side without discomfort. In addition, the integrated speakers handle video call audio without requiring a separate Bluetooth or USB speaker. Moreover, the Cloud Grey finish blends into most home office settings without drawing attention.
Student Setups
Students benefit from the monitor’s compact footprint and low power draw of just 17.5W typical. Because the stand accepts only tilt adjustment, desk placement requires some planning upfront. Nevertheless, for a fixed desk setup, the tilt range covers most sitting positions comfortably. Alternatively, the VESA mount option lets students wall-mount the panel to free up desk space entirely.
Light Media Consumption
For streaming video and casual gaming, the 100Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response time represent a clear step up from basic 60Hz office monitors. Furthermore, the 99% sRGB coverage means colours in films and images appear accurate rather than washed out. Consequently, the Lenovo L27i-4A handles light entertainment duties alongside productivity tasks without needing a separate gaming panel.
Dual-Monitor Configurations
The 2.0mm side bezels make the L27i-4A a practical choice for side-by-side dual-monitor setups. Additionally, the two HDMI 1.4 ports on the rear allow connection to a laptop and a desktop simultaneously. As a result, you can switch between sources as needed without unplugging cables.
Considerations
Stand adjustability is limited. The stand supports tilt only — there is no height adjustment, swivel, or pivot. Therefore, users who need precise ergonomic positioning should budget for a VESA-compatible monitor arm separately.
HDMI 1.4 rather than HDMI 2.0. Both HDMI ports run HDMI 1.4, which is sufficient for 1080p at 100Hz. However, if you plan to connect a newer console or GPU expecting HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 features, this monitor does not support them.
No USB hub. The L27i-4A does not include USB-A or USB-C ports on the panel. Instead, peripheral connections route directly through your PC or laptop.
Resolution is Full HD, not QHD or 4K. At 82 dpi across 27 inches, pixel density is lower than on smaller 1080p panels. As a result, users coming from a high-resolution laptop screen may notice the difference, particularly with small text.
No built-in camera or microphone. Video calls therefore require a separate webcam. The 3.5mm audio-out port supports headphones, but the monitor does not capture audio.
Speakers suit casual use only. The 3W×2 integrated speakers cover voice calls and background audio well. For music production or higher-volume listening, however, external speakers deliver considerably better results.
